Alisab School of nursing provides 21 course units in the CNA program, which
prepares nurse aides to: Provide emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual support to
clients in the health/home care settings. Work as a viable team member with other health care
personnel to coordinate delivery of nursing aide care present oneself in a manner that exhibits
professional conduct, appearance, and ethical behavior when providing nursing aide services to
the client Demonstrate effective communication skills in maintaining relationship with clients,
families, and other health care members Use safety precaution in accordance to the health care
setting to meet federal and state mandates
